Hi does it matter what name brand HPS bulb I use for my grow rm...I’m trying to increase my yield...I’m currently getting a little over an oz in a 3 gallon pot..im trying to get at least 2 ozs per pot..many people has said the eye Hortilux bulb is the best but I have tired the hortilux the xtrasun but I always get the same results...My room temp stay at 78-80 the humidity is around 55 percent my soil is great and I add beneficials to my soil and feeding schedule....

this light is 2200k is this spectrum good for 12/12
Yes the graph is a generic brand I was just wondering the HPS graph will that serve the purpose because when I buy the expensive brands I still end up with the same yield
I wanna kno if the HPS graph is good for flower
to me that is how things were years ago with everyone looking to get the best High Pressure Sodium bulbs and alike for their grows - and most went for the 1000 watt right off the bat
and many of those still say its all about the Wattage for better results and not so much on the actual light PAR of the light being used
So in your opinion does it really mat what brand you get
Your temp and humidity are good. What other bulb are you considering besides EyeHortilux? How often do you change out the bulb? Also, what strain are you growing? You may want to go into a larger grow pot if you are trying to get a larger yield. "The bigger the roots the bigger the fruits." ... The genetics may also be limiting your yield.
Hi
I change out my bulbs every 3 grows ..l also use XTRASUN 1000w HPS ...
im not sure what strain it is my friend gave me sum seed of a bag of wedding cake..
I’m vegging for about 45 days and my plants are about 3-1/2 feet when I flip and they are healthy...I was considering going up in pot size but I also feel I should be able to reach my goal (2 ozs ) per pot in a 3 gallon..
Talking to a few growers they all agree that I should be getting at least 2 ozs per pot...
@moserg1170 Ah bag seed. Well that makes sense then. Any idea if that plant was pollinated or if it was a hermaphrodite? If that bag seed came from a plant that was a hermaphrodite then any seeds that came from it will most likely have the same characteristics. Hermie plants don't yield as well as non-hermies. HPS bulbs need to be changed out after 2-3 grows so maybe you're going into that 3rd grow and getting weak PAR. Do you train your plants at all or just let them grow naturally? Got any pics to share? With proper lighting, genetics, training, and nutrition you could absolutely get 2+oz per plant using 3gal containers. It's just easier to do it in a larger grow pot that why I mention it.
@Mr. Grow It
I’m going to order your book this week I’ve been hearing good reviews on it..ive attached a couple pictures of my plants there not impressive but hear they are
