I have three main questions I’d like some help with if you guys don’t mine. I’m growing Girl Scout cookies photoperiod plants, currently in solo cups, I’ll transfer to 5 gallon fabric pots around node 5 of development, or around day 14 after sprout. They are on day 12 currently Looking happy and healthy. I’m using ocean Forrest soil With the fox farm trio which I haven’t incorporated yet. As well as cal mag and great white mycorrhizae. Finally I’m using water through a zero filter which brings my PPM to 0.
Question 1: Do you use cal mag when spraying down your leaves as well as with feedings or waterings?
Question 2: Do you mist the foliage or leaves throughout the grow or strictly in the first two weeks after sprout?
Question 3: I know after transplanting into fresh ocean forrest soil, it will have plenty of nutrients for the first 20-40 days. I know to monitor the ppm of the runoff, but my question is, how do you know when to start? Obviously the ppm will be way above range initially, so do I monitor the run off until the ppm gets below the recommended area?
I have watched tons of videos and read Mr Grow its book twice, doing tons of research before even getting my set up started. Now that I’m starting out, I’m extremely anxious and await your responses. Thanks again. -Ty
