A little help with my tricomes

I'm growing this vanilla Kush from Barney's farm. However the Tricomes are purple and some clear. Are these purple Tricomes supposed to represent the amber color of maturity. Have a look at the clip I made and give me your thoughts please.

Yeah . Grew with nutes. Started flushing from day 50 so it's well gone 16 days and I'm in Coco with RO water... I thought the same thing too and I never fed more than 1.6 ec

Got it. From what i'm reading, it's not uncommon for purply plants to get purple trichomes. Its their version of amber. I've never personally had a plant with them though. I assume your plant's leaves may fade to purple towards the end of its life. Your plant is beautiful.

@growhouse262 It's just that first video right? Where on the plant is that? Have you checked the trichomes on multiple parts of the plant? The trichomes on the sugar leaves tend to mature faster than the trichomes on the buds. How long has it been in flowering? According to Seedfinder, it typically goes about 63-70 days in flower.

this lady is on day 64 . I have taken samples from the bud and not sugar leaves. Samples have been taken from top and middle canopy. I know top buds tend to rippen faster so I usually check all over. I exclude the pop corn buds. If not ready as yet I'll wait a few more days
