I am having issues with ph and res Temps. I am growing Critical XXL Auto by garden of green. 3 weeks in Veg in a 32×32×64 tent. I am using rockwool and hydroton in a 5 gal bucket setup with drip feed with intervals at 20 min per hr. I am using a viparspectra v300t led light 26 inches away from the bucket on 20 -4 light cycle. Temp with lights on 75 -82F ,Lights off 76-72 lights off.
Humidity ranges in between 66-49%.
PH ranges in between 5.8 and 6.7. I using distilled water instead of tap water my tap water has a PH of 8 and Tds of 256. I am using Advanced Nutrients 3 part plus some extra additives

I wish I could help, I don't grow that style. I am curious to the use of peroxide, wouldn't that neutralize everything including nutrients? Just wondering for general knowledge.
If you're the person on Instagram that DM'd me about this issue, thanks for posting here instead. The plant seems to be healthy right now. I believe you mentioned you had root rot, is that correct? Can you post a picture of the roots? Are you using a pump/air stone in your reservoir? What is the temp of the water in the reservoir?
@Mr. Grow It I am the guy from IG.
Res -74 F
Tent -76F
Humidity 67%

Small water pump for drip feed
Aquarium heater set at 68
@drowser The two things that stand out to me there is the water temp in the res and pH. According to Maximum Yield, the optimal temperature for a nutrient reservoir is 63 to 72°F. The optimal pH range is a little more acidic and comes in at 5.5 to 5.8. Source: https://www.maximumyield.com/optimal-nutrient-reservoir-parameters-understanding-the-heart-of-your-system/2/1143
A trick that some growers use to keep the temp down is placing frozen water bottles into the reservoir. Either that or a chiller. You can use pH Down solution to lower the pH.
I used 2 20 oz bottles and brought temp down some . Would wrapping the buckets in aluminum foil help?
Should I remove the leaves with the spots? Thanks for all your time and patience and knowledge.
@drowser I wouldn't remove them. The plant needs leaves for photosynthesis. Kind of looks like potential calcium deficiency creeping on? Hard to see in purple lighting.
That's what I thought also. Also when my lights go off my temp is not going down it goes from around 78f to 82f, I have humdifier set to kick on when the lights come on. Am I doing it wrong?
@drowser You have an inline fan pulling fresh air into the environment right? So if the temperature is going up when the lights are off, the air being pulled into the environment must be around 82F. If you pull in air around 70-72F instead, then that cooler air will be pulled in instead.
Thanks I appreciate it.
