How does the soil feel?
Soil feels a little bit cold, but light when picked up, maybe underwatered?
Bottom of the pots are off the ground, temp is around 77-82 lights on, 64-71 lights off.
If they are light when picked up, they sound dry
I have watered one to see what happens, if it perks up i will water the others thanks for the help.
My initial thought is overwatering; I can see in the pics that the top of the medium is wet. Also the way they are drooping down makes me think overwatering instead of underwatering. When they are underwatered, they typically look a lot more "lifeless" ... Wish I could give you a better answer. Please keep us updated. Other than that, they look good!
Front 2 seem to be worse today
Thanks @Mr. Grow It, tbey have not been watered for nearly 3 days now, the back one was fine qnd has just gone droopy today, i read if the stems were also drooping it could be underwatering.
How long on average would it take to recover after being overwatered as it is 3 days now?
Are they in soil or is that coco coir?
Back one seems to have perked up with a little water
This is the one that has became droopy today but has had no water for 3 days, same as the other 2 but they went droopy 2 days ago, ph of the run off is fine 6.5.
Currently on 600w MH around 28inches from canopy, dont know if that has a bearing or not.
Having those air pots probably makes it a little bit more tricky to dial in waterings - i assume. I've never run them before though. A plant that size in that size container will probably need 3-4 days to dry out at least. Maybe even 5 days. In order to determine when to water, stick your finger into the top of the soil, if the top inch is dry, then water. Also, lift the grow pot to get a feel for the weight. You'll noticed the pot gets lighter and lighter as the soil dries out. Hope this helps.
Cheers Chris, they have been around 3 days to dry out up to now, we have been lifting the pots to get a feel, i have a spare pot set up with soil to gauge the weight, I am away at the moment so my wife is looking after them, I am back home on Monday so will get a better idea then.
I took the decision to water them with compost tea today as the back one looks healthy again after a little water, fingers crossed. Will keep you updated.
