Your filter is inside and your fan is out? Or are you using a filter? How is the pressure on the tent when that fan is turned on? If it's high enough you may not need anything as the out fan should be powerful enough to circulate along with an oscillating fan inside.
If this is a room where it's affected by exterior light, I would recommend getting a piece of ducting for the intake so you can bend and block any light.
I have all the windows blocked off so light is no issue I just happen to have the light on in the room for the picture, and there is definitely negative pressure inside the tent when it’s cut on the walls definitely start sucking in and tight, which I don’t know is good or bad, the fan is very very powerful i was wondering if the negative pressure is okay or if I need an intake to kinda even it out, the fan is set up outside the tent and is just sucking the hot air out it’s an ac infinity t6
You can adjust the speed on that fan so you should be alright. Open vents should be enough to rotate the air of you have the fan on medium. If you find you're struggling with heat issues you could add an intake. Is that a 4x4? I have a 6" in my 4x4 tent and full is way too much. I generally keep it at medium and dont use an intake
Heat is no issue what so ever so I’m good on that part and it’s actually on a 3x3 I just have it set to the number 3 setting for it to consistently be on and when it reached above my desired temps it will kick up to whatever it needs to be at so I’m good on that, I just didn’t know if the plants were still able to receive Oxygen with the tent closed up, i also plan on having several fans oscillating Inside the tent so I should be good on the fresh air part without having to open any vents in the tent? I really want it to be closed at all times
Do you have any of the bottom intake vents open? As air is being exhausted from the grow tent, it will be pulling air in through the intake vents. This is called passive intake.
I do not have any vents open that’s my question do I need them open? All my temps and humidity is spot on with out any vent open, my question is if all my temps are correct do I really need a vent open or can I keep it sealed and keep running with my inline fan on
@brody Ballew Well to ensure you're getting proper air exchange you should have at least one open; If your plants don't have enough CO2 then you will see a stunt in growth. Do you have any idea what your CO2 ppm is?
No sir I haven’t gotten into co2 at all yet but I did end up making an intake with ducting leading to the bottom of the tent so I’m all good thanks for the fast replies man! Keep growing some fire weed 😂
