I am a new grower and haven't even begun the entire growing process yet but I seem to have a misunderstanding of what I need to do when it comes to feeding my plant. I can't seem to tell if I need to use other fertilizers alongside an organic medium or if the medium doesn't matter and I have to use synthetic fertilizers as well. I don't want to "double up" my feeding by giving it synthetic fertilizers if I don't have to. if I don't need to use synthetic fertilizers what are some good organic mediums that i can use?

Soils that have nutrients in it will last for about the first 30 days or so of the plant's life. After that, you will absolutely need to feed the plant nutrients. You can either go the synthetic route and get a pack of 2 or 3 bottles to mix in water using a feeding chart, or you can try growing organically. There are many different ways to go about it. I personally like using FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil to being with.
