Hi . im having big problems adusting my new tsw2000 distance from the pants. at 100% even in 4feet (120cm) is burning the hell out of my plants (early veg / seedlink) .after days of stress on my autos :( i finally found that at 100cm and at 25% power (80W) my plants are happy. is that normal?
i used my phone to measure the lumens at the plants level and at this distance above i get 4000lumens. is there a table out there with lumen ratios during growth ? any other ideas?
Forgot to mention that all these are found on a 3x3x6 tent with ventilation
Seedlings don't need much light - so 80w sounds about right.
thanks . do you think a lux meter could help me with the distances and power of the lights?
It's generally not advised since lumens is only light that is visible to humans. Plants can absorb light that humans can't see.
When it comes to LED grow lights, not all are created equal. So you should follow the manufacturer's recommendation.
i tried to follow it but i saw that if i use the distances instructed i burn my plants in zero time . thats what makes me think that i may have something very wrong. 105cm and 70-80watts is way way different than the manual reccomendation . is that normal with everyone?
Seedlings usually don't require much light at all an being an autoflower its not good to stress them. 100cm an 80w sounds ok, i'd probably make sure the PH from the runoff is ok so the plant is aborbing the water an nutrients properly or else it can contribute to burning the leaves alot faster well at least in my experience
