    Mother Plants.

    any tips on how to groom plants to be mothers?


    do I top? lots of topping?


    LST?

    Topping, LST, pruning... All of that will help keep the mother plant shaped the way you're looking for. I had a bonsai mother plant last year that was kept in a 1-gal container. You'll find as the plant grows, it becomes easy figuring out which branches to take off to keep it small. Or, if you are trying to keep a big mother plant, even easier.

    topped em! do you recommend another topping or when taking clones the plant will be more or less topped?

    @Gilan Eugene You plants look healthy. Nice job. Most of the time I will top just once and then LST the remainder of the time.
