Should I add a second humidifier into my grow tent? Or maybe close the vent?

    in Grow Community

First grow. Very earlier into the grow and I'm having a hard time keeping the RH up where it needs to be. I live in a dry state average humidity is 30%. I have the humidifier all the way up.

The t6 cloud is a big fan for a 2x4 tent when you start running it.

To control my ranges for heat and humidity in my 5x5 thats in my basement I made a lung room around it hanging heavy painter cloth. I have a family room size humidifier in the lung room with the heater where I keep humidity at 50% and temp at 85. I have a air intake into the lung room for fresh air to mix before my t6 cloud pulls it into the tent with 2 bottom flaps open full.. In the tent I run a small humiifier that have I set to a 60% humidity. My HLG led lights keep my tent about 75°F with no heater assistance.

So when I combined all things together I get the following. I average 60% humidity and 82°F with my fan running constantly on setting 4.

    Hope this helps.

I live in a dry area too. I run 1-2 humidifiers in my lung room and 1 humidifier in my veg tent. I also use the Cloudline T6 so exhausting the air is intermittent.

You might need to put one outside the tent
