Just wondering people about the milky and amber coloured tricomes. Most of the tricomes are clear however some looks slightly amber.. Cant seem to see any milky..Is it normal for tricomes to move from clear to amber without the milky stage. these photos are of the bud itself and not the sugar leaves. Advice anyone.

@growhouse262 No the trichomes go from clear to cloudy then to amber. Have you looked at the trichomes on different parts of the plant or only one part? How does the plant look overall? Does growth appear to have stopped?
these pics comes from 3 of my 4 plants and they are from the top. I know the top usually matures and ripens before lower buds. Not much much change going on. Don't seem to be fattening up. lets see what happens in the next few days.. I'll keep posting.
@growhouse262 just about what week are you in ? -- as i did have one that kinda did same thing so i let go for a while longer - another 5 to 8 weeks and they did fatten up but i still had signs of new growth as well, during the last few weeks i also did some of the shape trimming of the buds.
below is the plant after the sun leaves were removed and some smaller trimming as well
same plant but this is about the way it looked as you stated yours did i am guessing
as you can see they did fatten up but it took a bit longer for it to happen
i did get 193 G dry so it was a good turnout for me being limited on space or i would have done more as well.
some might take only about 4 to 5 months from seed to harvest while others can take up to 9 or 10 months -- for me i try to stay with a 5 to 6 month schedule from seed to harvest,
but all that can vary without warning
My flowers are in the 8th week. Checked tricomes today and they are more Amber than anything. I swear the was no milky stage... Will be bring them down next 3 days. Just wanna apply some cold temps for some color
Interesting! Are you growing any other plants in the same area as that cannabis plant?
I'll post a timeline of pics... Only four ladies in the tent...
@growhouse262 Ok, I was going to say some other plants release ethylene which is a gas that actually speeds up the ripening process. Tomatoes is one of those plants. But you're not growing any other plants in the same room so that can't be it.
